In collaboration with Huis van de Wijk Buitenveldert a Workshop Digital Social Skills is organized by us.
More and more services are becoming available in the digital world. If it is to check the balance of your bank account, or to send an email to a friend, or message your grandchild on Facebook, many useful things can be done digitally. We think that digitalization is a trend that is here to stay because it has so many benefits. Often making things easier or faster. But what if you did not have many experiences with these kind of media? It might seem intimidating and maybe also difficult to learn. Luckily, it is easy and fun to learn and can be useful. It can open up a new world of possibilities, that will make your life easier and more fun.
Shine Social Club together with Huis van de Wijk Buitenveldert provides four easy to follow workshops that are practical and will introduce the most popular and useful digital tools. The theme of the workshops is communicating and meeting new people by making use of the smartphone or tablet. The first lesson will help you with any problem that you might have encountered and focuses on your personal learning goals. In the next lesson, we will learn how to make use of WhatsApp, the most popular messenger app. The third lesson will introduce you to Skype and FaceTime, two applications that both can be used for video chatting. Lastly, we will show a our own app that is called ‘Shine Social Club’ and is the most fun way to make new friends an meet up people with similar interests in your neighborhood. We are excited to get started on October the 10th and hope to see you there!
